1. 定語從句的概念以及結(jié)構(gòu)

在復(fù)合句中修飾名詞或者代詞的從句叫做定語從句。被定語從句修飾的名詞稱為先行詞;起到承上啟下作用的詞為引導(dǎo)詞

e.g. Lucy is a girl who likes to help other people。

先行詞 引導(dǎo)詞

2. 定語從句引導(dǎo)詞的種類

a. 那些花費(fèi)很多時(shí)間打游戲的人不愿意參加社會(huì)活動(dòng)，也不愿意與人交往。

Those who spend plenty of time watching TV will refuse to participate in social activities and interact with other。。

b. 每個(gè)人都夸獎(jiǎng)的那個(gè)女孩來自中國(guó)。

The girl whom everyone praises comes from China。

c. 手機(jī)是一種可以使人們互相溝通的工具。

The mobile phone is kind of tool which enables people to communicate with each other。

d. 人們往往會(huì)和性格，愛好與自己相近的人交朋友。

People tend to make friends with those ones whose character and hobby are similar to their own。

e. 我將永遠(yuǎn)不忘記我第一次見你的那一天。

The most exciting travelling experience for me is the one in Bali where I experienced diving for the first time in my life。

f. 最激動(dòng)人心的一次旅行經(jīng)歷是在巴厘島，在那里我有生以來第一次體驗(yàn)了潛水。

g. 手提電腦如今很普及的一個(gè)重要原因就是它的使用方便。

3. 非限定性定語從句

特點(diǎn)：主句與從句之間用“，”隔開;不能用that引導(dǎo);從句修飾整個(gè)主句

l which引導(dǎo)的非限制性定語從句

e.g. 很多車沿著街道停，這是交通堵塞的直接原因。

Plenty of cars are parked along the street, which is the direct cause of traffic congestion。

l as引導(dǎo)的非限制性定語從句--- 加分句式：一般放句首

As is well-known,

As is expected/ supposed/ suggested,

As has been said/ mentioned/ pointed out before,

As will be shown in the next paragraph,

e.g. 正如上文所述，中國(guó)政府越來越關(guān)注整個(gè)社會(huì)的可持續(xù)發(fā)展。

As has been mentioned, Chinese government is increasingly concerning the sustainable development of the whole society。

4. 考官如何在雅思寫作中使用定語從句

However, the parents who do not allow their children sufficient free time for leisure activities outside school hours are misguided。

If everything they do must have some educational or academic relevance, then they will soon get tired of studying altogether, which is the last thing parents would want。
